As a subcontractor to Raytheon Technical Services, PULAU’s responsibilities for the Live Training Support Task Order under the Warfighter FOCUS (WFF) contract are to provide operational and maintenance support in the following areas:

  • Facility Support, including building maintenance and repairs
  • Generators and Electrical Distribution Support, including fuel movement and refueling of generators
  • Wheeled Vehicle Support for military vehicles and for heavy earth-moving equipment, including vehicle recovery from the range, movement of After Action Review (AAR) trailers, maintenance of 2 ½- and 5-ton trucks, utility trailers and commercial trucks
  • Tracked Vehicle Support for the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC), including vehicle recovery from the range; maintenance includes welding, engine and transmission replacements, road wheel, track pad and track replacement
  • Battlefield Effects (BFE) Support, including movement and control of pyrotechnics for laser-based (simulated) exercises
  • Target Lifter Support including installation, removal/repair, warehousing, and maintenance for live fire and simulated exercises
  • Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) Support, including installation, repair, de-installation, and warehousing of MILES equipment on ground- and rotary-winged vehicles, including battery charging and disposal
  • Electronics support, including radios, maintenance of fiber optic and T1 land lines, control towers and the associated radio antennas; and C4ISR maintenance
  • Support the Combined Arms Collective Training Facilities (CACTF) including the operation and maintenance of multiple instrumented MOUT sites and live-fire shoot houses
In addition to the National Training Center (NTC) at Fort Irwin, CA, PULAU personnel provide logistics support at Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Stewart, GA and Camp Casey, South Korea. PULAU has been providing Live Training Support to the U.S. military at Fort Irwin and other locations in CONUS and OCONUS since May of 2008.
